Beth Anderson

Elizabeth L. "Beth" Havens Elizabeth Lurlene "Beth" Havens, 37, died Nov. 13, 2002, in Farmington, N.M. She was born Jan. 25, 1965, to Preston Greene and Mary Jane Furches Havens, Jr. in North Platte. A child at heart, Beth is remembered as a free spirit who enjoyed music, traveling and living in new places. She also enjoyed horror movies. She was raised and attended school in North Platte, graduating in 1983. In 1987, she married Daniel Anderson in Anchorage, Ala. The couple lived in Anchorage and came back to North Platte briefly, then moved to Denver. Daniel preceded her in death in 1991. Beth moved back to North Platte and returned to nursing school at Mid Plains Community College. She worked at Linden Manor Nursing Home while attending school. She moved to Arizona for several years and later to Bloomfield, N.M., where she was living at the time of her death. Survivors include three daughters, Mary Beth, Crystal and Jessica Anderson and a son, Rush Puls, all of North Platte; her mother, Mary (Jack) Faulkner of Baltimore, Md.; her father, Preston (Carol) Havens of North Platte; two sisters, Angie (Ken) Mapes of Lincoln and Tina Curnutt of North Platte; an aunt, Fay "Poochie" Furches of Baltimore; her mother-in-law, Bonnie Anderson of North Platte; and a special friend, Alfred Armenta of Bloomfield, N.M.; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Preston Greene “Tri” Havens, III in 1988. A memorial has been established for her children.
