Tassie Deuerlein

Tassie Lee “Chubs” Deuerlein of North Platte passed away September 23, 2010 at her home. She was born on March 21, 1965 in Omaha to Bobby and Edna (Keys) Loud. Tassie attended school in North Platte, graduating with the class of 1983 from North Platte High School . After high school, Tassie worked at Taco Johns. On March 31, 1989, Tassie married Bobby Deuerlein. The couple made their home in North Platte where Tassie worked for the North Platte Public Schools, North Platte Care Center, then back to the schools where she enjoyed being around the children. Tassie will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. Survivors include her husband Bobby of North Platte; her children, Choyce, Natalia, and Manase, all of North Platte; parents, Bobby Loud of Jackson, Louisiana, and Edna Keys of North Platte; sisters, Dea Matlock of Gering, NE, Venus McCray of Lincoln, and Tonya Matlock of Lincoln; brothers, Bobby Keys, Preston (Kristy) Keys, and Bracka (Nancy) Matlock, all of North Platte; special friends, Romano and Jessica Polanco, and sister/best friend, Jennifer Brown, all of North Platte; numerous aunts and uncles; over 70 nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews; and many other family members and friends. Preceding her in death were her father-in-law, Willie Deuerlein; an aunt, Tao Nebraska (Dee Dee) Kramer; an Uncle Eddie Holmes; and grandmothers, Dottie Holmes and Grandma Loud.
