John Titchen

John P. Titchen, 51, of Longmont, Colorado, died Sunday, September 25, 2016, at Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald, Georgia. Memorial services were held on Friday, September 30, 2016, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald. Services in Longmont, Colorado were held October 16, at the American Legion.

Mr. Titchen was born June 22, 1965, to Mervin Wayne & Barbara Larson Titchen of N. Platte, Nebraska. He served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corps during operation Desert Storm. He was stationed throughout the Middle East as well as the Pacific. He worked as an automotive parts salesman for Valley Subaru in Longmont. Mr. Titchen was a motorcycle and car enthusiast. He was a 32-degree Mason and a member of Garfield Lodge in Longmont and the Scottish Rite Consistory.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 16 years: Paula Titchen of Longmont, Colorado; children and their spouses: John M. & Amanda Titchen of Fitzgerald, Jessica Nichols of Palmer, Nebraska, Eric & Anastasia Casida of Hawaii, and Scott & Carissa Casida of Greenwood, Missouri; grandchildren: Tom Sones, Elle Sones, Jackson Casida, GraceAnn Lehmkueler, Holly Casida, Christopher Titchen, Payton Titchen, Danielle McDow, Raelynn Richards, and Maddox Richards; siblings and their spouses: Kellie & Roger Morash of N. Platte, Nebraska, Donna Post of Lincoln, Nebraska, Debbie & Norman Hagler of Alliance, Nebraska, Tommy & Christine Titchen of Minnesota, Michael & Punky Titchen of N. Platte, Nebraska, and Kris & Thomas Vedder of N. Platte, Nebraska.
