Troy Knoedler of North Platte, died March 5, 2021, at Great Plains Health, surrounded by his family and devoted friend, Lorie Koertner.
Troy was born in Omaha and grew up in North Platte. In his later years, he traveled the country working as a construction foreman building distribution centers from coast to coast. He returned to North Platte in 2014 and worked at Morland Enterprises as a master plumber and pipefitter.

He spent several years in Maine, enjoying all that Maine has to offer, devoting his free time to fishing on the ocean and going on whale-watching excursions. He loved visiting the historic military forts and shipyards. Troy loved seafood and was a regular at every lobster and crab shack. Troy never met an individual he didn’t call his friend. He was always quick to lend a helping hand to those around him.
